Arike Ogunbowale

Arike Ogunbowale plays professional basketball with the Dallas Wings, a team in the Women's National Basketball Association. She was a college basketball player with the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. The Wings selected her as the fifth pick of this year's WNBA. Arike Ogunbowale was a Milwaukee Wisconsin native born to Yolanda Ogunbowale. She was named to the 7th July roster of 2014 and was selected for the 2014 USA Youth Olympic Women's Basketball Team. Ogunbowale was also selected for the ACC All-Freshman Team for her first time in a collegiate game. The coach even thanked the Kobe Bryant after she hit various big shots in the NCCA Tournament. Ogunbowale, who is relatively new to the game of basketball, has already made herself a household name. She will surely continue to grow in her career. She plays soccer too and has also won three State Cup championships for the Lake County United Soccer Club as well as a State cup in the FC Milwaukee Soccer Club.
