Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd began her journey into combat sports at the age of 14. After a kickboxing training session, BJJ and wrestling, she began her professional debut with Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she turned 18. Ladd went on an impressive three-fight winning streak in Ultimate Reno Combat. In the three fights, she defeated her opponent within the first round. Ladd returned to WCFC and defeated Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen beat Silvia Babaeghian, and Maddy Simmons before fighting Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9. Cynthia was defeated by Aspen by unanimous decision. This put a stain on her record as an amateur. Ladd took her match against Roma Pawelek to improve to an 8-1 mark. Aspen began her professional career in 2015. She joined Invicta FC and made her debut. Invicta Fc 11, she defeated Ana Carolina Vidal and won the bout in the one round with a TKO. Invicta Fc 16 marked her debut fight in the Bantamweight division. She defeated Amanda Cooper with an armbar in second round. Aspen used the superior techniques she learned from wrestling to defeat McGill. Aspen ended the fight with a TKO (3rd round) (elbows as well as punches). Aspen then fought Jessica Hoy (138.1lb at Invicta FC) at a "catchweight"(138.1lb), because Ladd was unable to put on weight. Aspen, however, beat Hoy with a TKO. As for her final fight for Promotion, she fought Sijara Eubanks via unanimous decision at Invicta FC 21. Aspen Ladd debuted in the UFC at UFC Fight Night 118, with a bout against Lina Langsberg. She outclassed Lina with a combination of ground and pound. She won the TKO round later in the second. When she next faced Tonya Evinger in UFC 229, her victory was more spectacular. Ladd beat Evinger by a punch in the opening round, and earned a Performance of the Night bonus. She fought her first big fight at The UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. Both fighters put up a back-and-forth encounter that ended with Ladd winning via unanimous decision and each fighter getting an award known as the Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie was able to finish the fight in just 16 seconds and stop Ladd and her streak. Yana Knitskaya, in the UFC 7 ESPN 7's third round, was defeated by Randamie. In her place, she fought Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. The fight ended in a unanimous verdict.
